Like Mina, they have low self esteem that stems from their former relationship with Amon, still not sure what to call it, overconfidence in themselves that often lead to losing people they care about in their past. Holding long standing grudges that can effect Mina over time, insecure, time of lack of empathy, judgmental and impulsive.
  personality.  Seeing that most of Mina's personality traits come from Philae, but they were known during their time under the Allag Empire as a very caring and loving person to the people of that time. Always helping those in need whenever she could despite the illness they had. She was very known to go out of their way to make others feel valued and supported as it was the goal for the Empire to reach out to any mages that were ostracize from their homeland, not understanding the true goal of their father's vision until it was too late. Yet behind that warmth lies a carefully guarded secret, a part of their life that they wish to stay hidden even from Mina who can't access parts of their memories in order to protect themselves. Philae instilled in herself the loving nature to care for those in need and always to smile despite how they currently feel in life. They hate the fact, keep most of their past hidden and making Mina trek the world to uncover their truth, but in a way they wanted to Mina to be the person they always wanted to be, free from others who abuse and used them for their personal gains, to allow Mina to love Etheirys through their own personal experiences and not from their past. Most of Allag Empire and the world they shaped is gone forever lost to the sea of time. Philae will only appear for two reasons, for Allag knowledge or when Mina starts to buckle under the weight of learning something they are not ready yet to learn. Philae will one day unlock those memories once they feel their other half is ready to learn that truth.

Mina's beginnings Twenty years ago, Miounne and her grandfather found a young Viera kit alone and near death in the forest, just outside the gates of Gridania. There were no signs of who the child was or where they had come from—no name, no family, and nothing to identify them. The only thing nearby was a mage’s staff, its surface shimmering with a blueish-silver sheen.
Not knowing what to do, Miounne was prepared to turn the child over to the Wood Wailers. But the Elder Seedseer at the time sensed something special about the kit and instead asked Miounne and her grandfather to care for them. They agreed, and soon after began researching what little was known about the Viera and their kits. But it became clear they would not be able to raise the child in the traditional way of the jungle-born Viera—assuming, of course, that’s where they had come from.Miounne’s grandfather gave the child a name: Mina, after his late wife. Though still young herself, Miounne took Mina in and raised them as her own daughter. Having learned she could not have children of her own, she often said she was lucky—blessed, even—to have Mina as her one and only.Life in Gridania was never easy for Mina. They were always seen as an outsider—not Elezen, not Hyur—and that kind of quiet suspicion still lingers in the city to this day, even as adventurers from all over pass through its gates. But Mina paid it little mind (at times). Their actions spoke louder than any rumors, and their natural skill in hunting and gathering left many in awe—or uneasy. Over time, it left Mina feeling unwanted in the place she loved so much.By the age of ten, Mina was training under E-Sumi-Yan of the Conjurer’s Guild, eventually becoming the youngest member of the God’s Quiver Bow. But on their thirteenth nameday, everything changed. Mina awoke from a vision—stars falling like rain and a woman’s voice echoing: “Hear. Feel. Think.” It was the first time they experienced the Echo.Frightened by the vision, Mina withdrew from Miounne, afraid of what the ability meant—afraid that they might be taken away, or worse, exiled from the only home they had ever known. Yet over the years, they quietly used the Echo, sometimes recounting memories of Miounne’s father or grandfather with impossible clarity, or uncovering secrets long buried by time and silence in the city’s history.Miounne eventually learn about Mina's Echo and came to realize what the Elder Seedseer must have sensed all those years ago—that Mina had a gift. She didn’t fully understand the Echo, but she hoped it might one day bring Mina closer to the truth of who they were and where they came from.Mina, meanwhile, never let the questions define them. They loved their “mama,” and their life in Gridania, even if they never truly understood why they were left behind. Still, that question lingered, quietly, until more Viera began arriving at the gates of Gridania—adventurers, wanderers, warriors. And with each one, the old ache returned: a hope that somewhere among them, there might be a clue… or a connection. Mina starts their journey at the Waking Sands joining the Scions at the behest of Papalymo and Yda. Not understanding that their past will soon to be reveal during their journey across Etheirys.Mina's true realityIn reality, they once lived on Elpis as an ancient who help created Meteion and her sisters with Hermes and was younger sibling of the Azems duo of the Convocation agreed to allow this time (having two Azems was unthinkable until one constantly left for journeys while the other stayed) . Again during the Allagan Empire as one of the offspring of Emperor Xande and was the lover of Amon. In attempts to gain favour with Amon, they allowed themself to use by Amon in his cruel experiments hoping that one day that he finally would love them. To this day, Philae doesn't know if he did or continue the act until their death.They had awaken as one of the Warriors of Light and was set to stop their father because they felt they had no place in the new Empire and the acts that their father were doing harm not only himself, but the people of their country they loved dearly. They believed their time was long ago and now was the time to fade back into the past. His actions caused the end of the empire that was created on lies.They had tried to stop their father from his madness and in thus was killed for their betrayal to him, the action, that Amon saw that, in many ways, changed him into the Nihilistic person he had become over time.His last act of kindness and some show that he did loved to them, he saved their soul from being washed into the aether sea. He transfer their soul into a body of genetically alter Viera designed for their use if anything had happen to them and left them with the only item he gifted them during their time together, Dreamsong, and place their body in unknown crypt before freezing the crystal tower that laid dominant for 5,000 years in one day they would be free from the life that commanded them to be a pawn to her father and to him.In closing Sixth Astral Era, they found themself awakening after 5,000 years and escaped the tower with the memories of their time during the Allagan Empire. Not sure where to go or do, they found themselves in Gridania after a long track from Mor Dhona tired, hungry, their aether had not returned to them fully, and had finally laid down near the entrance of the city-state in hopes someone will find them. That prayer was answered as Miounne and her grandfather were leaving the city-state to only see a Viera who was hurt and in of attention. Before they could do anything, the Viera summon the last of their strength to transform into a younger kit in hopes someone would take pity. Miounne watch in horror, but wanted to do something. She had alerted the Wood Wailers who were conducting business with the Seedseer of the time. The Seedseer told Miounne to take the child in her care because one day find them leading an important role. Heeding those words, she took the kit in and her grandfather named them Mina. Mina’s life began a new without even knowing who they was or where they came from. Their Journey is about acceptance and craving their place in the world that they will come to understand and loves all of their heart that will place their life on the line to save.
